Best Twin Stroller For Newborns
A double stroller is essential if you are expecting twins or have two children of the same age. The best ones offer multiple ways for your kids to ride with you, including side-by-side seating as well as a rider board attachment.
The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's favorite stroller. It can adapt to your family's needs effortlessly. It can fit two infant car seats as well a toddler car seat which makes it an ideal option for twins starting at birth.
Bugaboo Donkey
This is the ideal double stroller for families looking for a stylish, side-by-side double stroller. It's a little bigger than other Bugaboo strollers, but it feels solid and built to last. It has a handlebar that is adjustable that can be extended and retracted easily. It also has a long reach, so it is easy for my husband of 6'1 to push, even when loaded.
The seats are comfortable and can be positioned to place one child behind the other or to have children facing each the other. They can also recline separately from one another. The canopies cover both seat fabrics, if desired. However, they don't offer enough ventilation, which makes them be like a tiny oven on hot days. There is no peek-a-boo to look at your children.
One of the most distinctive features of this stroller is its ability to grow with your family from one seat (Mono mode) to grow to a double side-by-side stroller. It is the only double stroller convertible to do this. It can even be used with another bassinet or car seat for babies.

It is easy to navigate on smooth surfaces and handles slopes and steps well. The only drawback is that it could be difficult to navigate through crowded shops and restaurants. It is also a little difficult to fold, especially when the seats are connected. It is still compact and can fit through most doors.
In mono mode, there's a storage bin in front of the front seats. This is useful for groceries and other supplies. The main storage basket under the seats is huge and can hold up 100 pounds. This is more than any other stroller on our list!
Uppababy Vista v2
This is one of the most popular twin strollers for newly newborns. It can be used with a variety of infant car seats and bassinets (adapters sold separately) and can be used as a double stroller straight out of the box. It can even accommodate two infant car seats or bassets simultaneously if you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.
In comparison to the original Vista, The V2 has made a few changes to make it even better. The toddler seat is a half-inch higher, the footrest is more space and the canopy is equipped with a zip-out fabric extender that adds extra coverage. Also, the harness has been modernized - it no longer needs to be replaced, making it easier to adjust.
The stroller is equipped with big wheels (8" in front and 11.5" in the back) and a sturdy suspension system that lets it take on any terrain. The rubber wheels on the front are ideal for navigating gravel and rocks, while the tread on the rear wheels is more suitable for grassy hills or sidewalks.
A child's bicycle can be attached to the front of a stroller. This is a great solution for parents who don't wish to use a car seat. If you have a child old enough to stand, the Vista stroller can accommodate a third child with its piggyback board accessory.
Vista Vista is simple to use and to install. It does take some time to take off all the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and there's an YouTube video if you need help understanding the steps.
Thule Urban Glide 3
The Thule Urban Glide 3 is the newest version of this popular stroller for all-terrain use. It's made to attract modern families that are a fan of style, sustainability, and adventure. It comes with exciting upgrades such as a built-in foot rest and an updated reclined seat that promises the best comfort for children on long walks and jogs. Its sleek, agile design also enhances its maneuverability.
It is extremely light, making it easy to drive and swift to accelerate on the road. Its suspension is able to handle abrupt changes in the surface (like grass to pavement) easily and the large wheels provide ample traction for even the most difficult terrains. It can easily climb over kerbs and turn tight spaces, like city streets. Even narrow sidewalks and crowded park are not a problem.
The brand new Urban Glide 3 is a superior jogger that provides parents with an abundance of comfort and ease. The oversized canopy provides excellent sun protection, a convenient peekaboo, a high quality harness system and a handbrake that is perfectly adjusted. It also has ideal storage, including in-seat storage pockets and a huge cargo basket that can hold up to 15 pounds with a zip-top cover.
This Thule Jogger includes a bassinet that is suitable for strolling babies, and a double version that can fit two children. It can be used with car seat adapters, so you can use the infant carrier of your child, and it features a simple fold that's one-handed to make it easy to transport or store. It also comes in a green option, using solutions-dyed fabrics with black color options to minimize water consumption.
Cortina Together
Created for the growing family, Cortina Together offers parents versatile seating options that can be adjusted to each child's unique needs and preferences. The two stroller seats of the double stroller come with reclined backrests and canopies that are completely independent. They're also designed to accept one of Chicco's #1-rated KeyFit or KeyFit 30 infant car seats in the front seat and rear seat (car seat sold separately) using the exclusive click-in attachment without the need for additional bars and straps, like many other models need.
A large, zipper-access basket in the rear offers ample storage space for the gear. The handle is cushioned to allow for dad or mom. The tandem double stroller's wheels and suspension provide a smooth ride over any terrain, and the one-touch rear brakes that are linked and have a toe-tap activated make stopping a breeze.
In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well for its ease of use. This is based on how easy it is to fold and set up the stroller, adjust the safety harness as well as the snack tray, engage and disengage the brakes, then lift and carry the folded stroller like you would put it in a trunk, and for compatible double strollers install and remove the infant car seat.
We did find some drawbacks to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds when fully loaded and is closer to the extreme side of our metric than the average for this category of strollers. In addition, it has limited visibility in the back seat when the car seat is fitted. The front tray release isn't always easy to use, especially after prolonged usage. Despite these issues, we still believe this is a fantastic double stroller that can keep up with your family for a long time.
Jeep Double Stroller
Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller - an affordable, lightweight stroller that is ideal for families with two children. The front lock wheels swivel and rotate for smooth maneuverability on flat surfaces, and lock to provide stability on bumpy surfaces. It also has an umbrella fold that closes in a matter of seconds and can be set up for easy transport. Its aluminum frame is lightweight, and its foam handle and carrying strap makes it one of the easiest double strollers we have seen in our tests.
This tandem stroller comes with reclined seats that can be independently adjusted for maximum comfort. Its large canopy offers UPF 50 protection and includes a peekaboo view for easy monitoring. We would like to see the canopy vented for extra airflow, however. We didn't like the fact that the cup holder sits extremely high on the frame. You'll have to bend down in order to reach it.
In our tipping test the Jeep fell over with only a 39-degree angle, which is above average for a double stroller. It's heavier than the average, but offers more storage for the price. The handles and seats are also well-padded.
This stroller can be used in three modes that include wagon (just for things), Jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses for children) and car seat mode. It can be used with an car seat for infants. However, pediatricians advise that you wait until your child is six months old to run with them. double pram and pushchair is available in black with a limited warranty.
